An introduction to the gcsc 2020
Canada’s biggest student contest, The Great Canadian Sales Competition (GCSC), offers business-to-business sales organizations a unique opportunity to connect their employment brand with students and make critical sales hires. Over the last 5 years, the GCSC has introduced and educated more than 11,000+ post-secondary students on sales as a potential career path and a critical business skill. The demand for sales talent is higher than ever before and there is a shortage of supply within the market. In fact, 80% of Canadian companies struggle to find and hire talented sales candidates. Over the course of this competition year, our mission is to provide you with access to unparalleled top sales rookies in Canada before they start their career.

Thank you for your continued support with the Great Canadian Sales Competition (GCSC). We are entering our second month and are making exciting headway! Our partners and members of the GCSC team have visited 13 classrooms and co-hosted 3 events with the Rotman Commerce Sales Group, the University of Toronto (Scarborough) DECA Group and McMaster University DECA Group. These efforts in collaboration with our club partners, curriculum partners and student Ambassadors on campus resulted in exposing the competition and its sponsors to 1,500+ students and garnering 245 participants thus far. A full list of our upcoming events can be found below. Subscribe to our newsletter and stay up-to-date with all of our events, initiatives, and other competition news!
